The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program is proud to dedicate its most complex project to date, Philly Painting, created with world-renowned Dutch artists Jeroen Koolhaas and Dre Urhahn, also known as Haas & Hahn. Haas & Hahn have reimagined the streetscape with large-scale mural projects that swathe entire blocks in color. These exciting works of art have been realized on more than 50 storefronts between the 2500 and 2800 blocks of Germantown Avenue in North Philadelphia, transforming the facades of a selection of buildings along the Avenue painted by hired local community members and experienced mural artists. Media and the public are invited to the dedication of Philly Painting at 11 am on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 1007 West Lehigh Avenue.
